Generally speaking ,as each cleaning project is different, our written quotation usually takes into account the amount of time it could likely take to complete the work, the complexity of the work, the cost of cleaning materials, the location (for example charges are typically higher in London) and any specialist equipment required, along with a contribution to our business overheads.
We always provide our prospective clients with a quotation based on an hourly rate excluding VAT, usually starting from around £10 per hour per cleaner for regular, non-specialist cleaning services. Specialist services such as carpet cleaning are typically charged per square metre of carpet, starting from around £3 per square metre.
We usually charge higher rates for one-off cleaning work, starting from around £15 to £20 per half hour.
Fixed fees are also often charged for one-off jobs, such as an ‘end-of-tenancy’ clean for a BTL landlord, typically charged at around £100 (excluding VAT).
Contract cleaners usually bill and invoice customers monthly in arrears and require payment to be made within 14 or 30 days of invoice, usually by cheque or BACS.
